Bringing a Visionary Brand to Life with Design and Storytelling
EDENS’ mission goes beyond that of your ordinary real estate developer. Their purpose is to enrich communities through conversation and engagement in their spaces. As a business that designs and curates meaningful cultural experiences, it was important that the website we designed reflects the human element of their brand. We also wanted to mirror the emphasis on art and design that is a part of EDENS’ spaces.
We looked at editorial fashion design as visual inspiration, using negative space, text scale and artistic photography to create a high-end, yet accessible design aesthetic. Stories about EDENS’ retailers and restaurants—and the humans behind—them allow site visitors to get to know the businesses who call EDENS home.
One key goal of the site is to help businesses find available space in any of EDENS properties across the country. We took a mobile-first design approach, ensuring that the property search functionality and resulting listings can be viewed seamlessly on any device. We aren’t the only ones who love this work. EDENS.com earned a CSS Nectar’s Site of the Day Award and a CSS Design Awards Special Kudo.
